Website for Belvedere Barbers, a premium barbershop in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver, combining an online store (Shopify catalog and cart) and online booking in a single branded experience.

Challenge
Belvedere needed more than a brochure site: it had to sell grooming products online and let clients book appointments without sending them off to third-party platforms disconnected from the brand. The challenge was integrating Shopify commerce and an external booking system (Squire) into a seamless, fast experience true to the shop's premium visual identity.
Solution
Development of a Next.js site with the product catalog fetched server-side through the Shopify Storefront API and a client-side cart (Cart API + Server Actions), without relying on the Shopify theme. Integration of the Squire booking widget, a careers form wired to Resend, and consent-gated GA4 analytics (no script loaded before opt-in). All within a deliberately minimal art direction — white, black and a red accent.
Results
Belvedere now has a single site bringing together service presentation, online store and booking, hosted on Vercel and optimized for search (sitemap, structured data and dynamic Open Graph images). The decoupled Shopify architecture keeps full control over design and performance, while strict consent ensures privacy compliance from launch.
